What is spatial design?

Been few week that having spatial design classes but till today i still have no direction on what am i doing during spatial class. As Mrs Tan given request or to say assignment on just hammering nail on modeling card for the pass few week and she told us is the part of assignment yet i still wondering have will it related to my studies but still is kind of make me looking forward on the next step
